The death of Rafael Larraz, a renowned journalist specialising in crime stories, leads his daughter to discover an unfinished novel among his belongings. Curiosity drives her to read it, although she soon realises that this manuscript is much more than a simple work of fiction. Inside, she finds a series of crimes, unusual events and scandals of enormous proportions.
As the plot unfolds, she will uncover dark secrets that her father had kept hidden and that could have been the cause of his death. Her search leads her to connect these old crimes with her own family history, revealing a network of robberies, mafias, and police and journalistic investigations in the city of Castellón that marked her family’s destiny for decades.
Andreu Martín offers us a journey with multiple voices, counterpoints and time jumps where the lines between reality and fiction are blurred. Now there is only one last goal: to discover why.
